FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: under local retrobulbar anesthesia with akinesia one should apply a blepharodilatator, then - bridle suture onto direct upper muscle. Conjunctiva should be dissected against limbus in the upper department to be separated upwards. Conjunctival incision is made, external scleral flap is formed. One should remove external wall of Schlemm's canal and a strip of corneoscleral tissue with deep scleral layers up to Descemet's membrane. Out of middle scleral layers one should cut two P-shaped flaps as "folds" with their bottom outwards. They should be folded in two parts, turned outwards and interrupts sutures should be made onto surface scleral flap by capturing "folds" followed by conjunctival suturing in. At no filtration of chamber moisture, deep scleral layers should be involved into developing "folds" by opening flat part of ciliary body. EFFECT: higher efficiency of surgical treatment. 1 cl, 8 dwg, 2 ex
