FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: method of viscous mediums heating and mixing in working volume includes treatment of viscous medium in mixing zone with live steam flows in continuous mode by means of viscous medium and steam supply through steam jet mixing device and supply into working scope in jet mode, which provides mixing of medium and independent rotation of device. Steam jet mixing device that consists of casing, which is installed with the possibility of rotation, with two inlet and outlet nozzles, additionally contains at least three outlet nozzles, at that nozzles are equipped with bent outlet heads. Nozzle for steam supply is installed concentrically to nozzle of viscous medium supply and is communicated with additional nozzles, the outlet openings of which are coaxial to inlet openings of casing outlet heads, at that relation of additional nozzle outlet opening diameter relation to width of gap between additional nozzle and inlet opening of outlet head is equal to 1:5-1:10.

EFFECT: even mixing and simultaneous heating of viscous mediums in the whole working volume and more complete distribution and use of steam energy during medium treatment.
