FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: control valve consists of composite housing with inlet and outlet sleeves, ball rotary gate with through opening, rod, rod sealing and ball rotary gate seat. Throttling elements are fixed in through opening of ball gate. They are represented with at least one set of interlinked membranes. Membranes are parallel to each other having slotted gaps in between for fluid flowing. From one or both sides, side surfaces of membranes are profiled as rib, cellular or wave-like shape surfaces. From external side of ball valve opening, end surfaces of membranes are spherical with radius equal to external surface of ball valve.
EFFECT: expansion of valve performance, reduction of noise and erosion wear-out of valve elements by fluid flow during valve opening and closing.
