FIELD: nanotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: as a silicon- and carbon-containing materials, the carbonaceous rocks including the evenly distributed in the carbon matrix the silicon-containing components of the laminated aluminum silicate and quartz with the sizes up to 10 mcm, and not less than 25% of the nongraphitic carbon with the siliceous-carbon (SiO2/C) absolute value not more than 2, where SiO2 and C correspond to the silicon dioxide and carbon in the carbonaceous rocks. Heating till 1400-2100°C is performed in the inert atmosphere at the rate of 100-2000 degree/min and such a temperature is maintained within 5-30 min. The obtained material is cooled in the inert medium to the temperature equal to or less than 400°C.
