FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to methods of purifying and disinfecting sewage water, containing synthetic surface-active substances. The invention can be used for cleaning sewage water, formed in the process of wet machine cleaning of textile, leather and chamois products, for recycling used laundry cleaning solutions, cleaning sewage water from dye-decorative production. The sewage water goes through several treatment stages: mechanical, physico-chemical, biological treatment and final purification. Physico-chemical treatment is done through treating water by electro-coagulation for 20-30 minutes with anode current intensity of 1-3 A /dm2, combined with periodic action for 2-3 minutes after every 5-7 minutes of ultrasonic vibrations with frequency of 20-25 kHZ and power of 1-3 W/cm2, with subsequent sedimentation. The sludge formed in the electrocoagulation process undergoes foam suppression with subsequent evaporation, after which 60-80% of the condensate is used for diluting effluent before biological cleaning.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of purifying and disinfecting sewage water with high concentration of hard to oxidise and non-biodegradable synthetic surface-active substances.
