FIELD: water cleaning, particularly to recover waste detergent solutions in municipal-domestic service facilities, light industry plants demanding large water volumes, chemical facilities using surfactants as wetting agents, emulsifiers, stabilizers and so on and domestic sewage water purification.
SUBSTANCE: method involves ultrasonically treating water to be purified in cavitation regime by applying ultrasonic oscillations with ultrasonic oscillation power density of 1.5-3 W/cm2; linking electrode set to constant current source and performing combined ultrasonic and electrocoagulation water treatment in cavitation regime with ultrasonic oscillation power density of 1-2 W/cm2; carrying out final electrocoagulation sewage water cleaning. All water treatment stages are serially performed in single electrochemical reactor.
EFFECT: increased cleaning efficiency along with decreased power inputs and reagent consumption.
