FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to methods of preparation of components for solid propellants with improved characteristics of combustion. Method is suggested to apply coating on octogene crystals by means of treatment with copper-bearing organic compound. Water solution of polyacrylamide is added into water suspension of octogene, the prepared mixture is heated, then water solution of copper oxyacetate is dosed in it while mixing, and solution is aged. Solution of copper oxyacetate is prepared by mixing of copper acetate solution and caustic soda.
EFFECT: creation of method for application of coating on octogene crystals, which provides copper oxide depositing on crystals without application of organic dissolvant.
