FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: in reservoir volume, three control points are marked out, two of them are located above and below its oil part, and the third point is located in the lower water part. The hydrostatic pressure is measured between the control points in the oil part and between the control points above the oil part and at lower water part. The controlling effect on the water drain rate is formed on basis of the current water level which is calculated by formula. The first pressure sensor in the oil part of the running reservoir is connected with the second pressure sensor in the oil part and with the pressure sensor in the lower water part via the first and, correspondingly, the second transformer of the pressure difference which are connected with the control unit via their outputs.
EFFECT: increased precision of determining oil-water interface level, increased efficiency of water-oil mixture dehydration and increased general reliability of separation controlling system.
