FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates plain bearing designs incorporating in permanent magnets with vertical shafts used in machine tools, electric generators, vehicles, construction engineering, chemical industry etc. The said bearing assembly contains a fixed housing and a base with mounting holes. The housing consists of three parts, one of them being jointed to the other one by thread provided at the point of joint, the other two being fastened together. The assembly incorporates also magnets on the housing inner surfaces, the base with mounting holes, a movable vertical shaft with magnets on its surface arranged at the centre of the housing cavity, the shaft upper end being free. It also has a housing end face cover with outer thread on its flange and central bore for the shaft free end to extend there from, an annular magnet on the housing cover inner surface with aligned holes. A disk is attached to the shaft lower end face, the edge of which is rigidly attached to the tape ring inner side accommodating the magnets on its outer side. The disk upper and lower surfaces accommodate the magnets.
EFFECT: wider range of plane bearings, lower costs and higher power savings, higher stability in operation.
