FIELD: mechanical engineering, construction materials production, chemical, agricultural and other industries.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and device to reduce friction coefficient in sliding bearings used in machine tools and other mechanisms, in conveyors for raw materials and finished products. According to invention, sliding is effected, without lubricating materials, between remote layers of air by forming compressed magnetic fields of installed permanent magnets. Magnetic are installed with like poles opposite to each other at air gap of 0.1 l ÷ 0.6 l where l is distance of beginning of zero reaction of permanent magnets and simultaneously fixed arrangement of movable part of sliding bearing is provided owing to magnetic repelling forces. Device is provided which has fixed housing 1 with base 3 and with inner thread on end to turn on end face covers 7, 9. Permanent magnets 2 are located on inner surface of housing 1, and base is found from outside. Movable axle 4 is made in center of space of housing 1. Permanent magnets 5 are mounted on surface of axle 4, and solid permanent magnet 6 is located on its end face. Device contains cover 7 with outer thread on its flange and with solid permanent magnet 8 on its inner surface in center to stabilize cover on base 3. Ring permanent magnet 10 is located on inner surface of cover 9 with outer thread on its flange and with round hole in center to pass free end of axle 4.
EFFECT: enlarged assortment of sliding bearings, reduced energy consumption and cost of manufacture owing to dispensing with expensive lubricating material, improved serviceability of vehicles and machine tools.
