FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely, to bearings on magnetic suspension, and can be widely used in assemblies and mechanisms in all branches of national economy. Radial-thrust bearing consists of diamagnetic housing, two fixed magnetic rings located inside housing and made with inner annular cavity, and rotating magnet located in annular cavity of fixed magnetic rings. Magnetic rings are made with anti-diagonal magnetization and cross-section shape, which is a square. One of inner corners of said square is cut. Rotating magnet has an axial magnetization and a shape which follows the shape of the inner annular cavity. Size of the rotating magnet makes it possible to install it into the inner annular cavity of fixed magnetic rings with gap of 0.2–0.5 mm. Rotating magnet is provided with a central hole into which the nonmagnetic shaft is pressed. Inner angle of each magnetic ring is cut at angle of 45°, and shape of rotating magnet is made with angle of apex making 90°. Magnetic rings are made of NdFeB. Housing is made of copper or brass and is made dismountable.
EFFECT: use of invention increases reliability of radial thrust bearing durability.
