SUBSTANCE: invention is designed to be used for antirust protection of welded joints of the pipes with inner protective coating. The welded joint area and the parts adjoining inner protective coating are preliminary cleaned, a sealing aggressive medium resistant compound is applied onto a binding. A binding protective belt is formed after making a welded joint by introducing the said binding into the pipe with subsequent pressing it against the welded joint inner surface. The sealing compound gets solidified on heating. The binding is made in the form of a sealing film-fibre patch from aggressive medium resistant materials and consists of an aggressive-medium-tight film coated on both sides with a fibre material layer impregnated in a vacuum chamber with a solventless liquid binder chemically close to the pipe coating material and forming stable bonds with the inner coating material. The protective binding belt is formed by pressing the binding against the pipe welded joint inner surface with partial overlapping of the pipe inner protective coating.
EFFECT: higher quality antirust protection of the pipe welded joints.
