FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to method of monitoring welding process executed in machines that are equipped with hydraulic drive of flashing and yielding. Welding voltage is supplied, welded parts are brought together and at flashing stage current pressure value is measured in approaching cavity of hydraulic cylinder of flashing and yielding. Measured current value of pressure is continuously compared with preset value that is defined by experimental approach. Whenever measured pressure exceeds preset value, welding voltage is disconnected and welded parts bringing together is stopped. After welding voltage disconnection welded parts are distanced. Parts are taken out from welding machine, cooled and then repeated cycle of welding is carried out.
EFFECT: welding equipment efficiency is increased at the account of reduction of labour expenses for cut-out of defective welded joints.
