FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to technologies of secondary metallurgical raw materials treatment and can be implemented in metallurgy at preparing wastes and scrap of iron-and-steel to remelt. Scrap and iron-and-steel wastes as well as a fine dispersed iron containing material and fine dispersed carbon containing material are charged into a pressing chamber and pressed. At that there is a following ratio of elements, mas.%: scrap and iron-and-steel wastes - 50-90, a fine dispersed iron containing material 5-35, a carbon containing material - the rest.
EFFECT: facilitates reduction of waste of iron at packages recycling as well as reduction of quantity of detrimental impurities in packages, also it facilitates increased density, reduces duration of packages melting cost and cuts down prime cost of steel production at packages remelting.
