FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aviation engine engineering and can be used in electronic hydro mechanical systems of automatic control (ACS) over gas turbine engines (GTE). The method is designed to calculate gas temperature and engine rotor rpm variations in a preset equal time intervals in starting up the engine, to filter the magnitudes of variations using the first order aperiodic circuit with the time constant twenty five times higher than the preset time interval, to calculate the relation between the filtered magnitude of gas temperature variation and the filtered rotor rpm variation magnitude. If this relation exceeds a preset magnitude for the preset time interval, a "Dangerous operating conditions" signal is generated to cut off fuel feed into the engine for 0.3 to 0.5 s.
EFFECT: longer life of gas generator, higher reliability of engine and safety of flying vehicle.
