FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to airplane engine engineering and can be used in electronic hydro mechanical automatic control systems (ACS) intended for gas turbine engines (GTE). The invention novelty consists in that, with the shut-off valve (AOV) cut off, fuel is fed in the "throttle-down" (TD) conditions in the engine combustion chamber (CC) if, after resuming feeding the fuel into CC, fire does not die and hunting does not originate again, the fuel metering pump (FMP) is used to increase fuel flow rate into CC half as slow, compared with the engine pick-up characteristics, to a value that allows keeping up the engine rotor rpm at the level preceding to the moment of hunting.
EFFECT: higher engine reliability and safety.
