FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in presetting the limits of optimum movement speed of the apparatus in a flow of transported medium and stabilising the movement speed in the preset limits by varying the apparatus flow section. Here, the part of flow is directed into a small-section f separate channel selected from the condition f=(0.03-0,50) F, a pressure difference is created between the small-section channel pressure and that in the apparatus flow section, and the apparatus flows section is varied by using the said pressure difference. The apparatus implementing the said method has the branch pipe space, i.e. the small-section channel, wherein a central valve-seat is formed and a tapered shut-off element is fitted therein to make lengthwise motion, furnished with a tie-rod linked via the valve seat with the reciprocating drive arranged ahead the branch-pipe and along its axis. The extensible membranes are made in the form of flexible partitions attached at the pylons so that to get folded on the branch pipe and pressed to its outer surface be means of calibrated spring and levers. Note that there are through openings below the partitions in the said branch pipe, while cross section f of the branch pipe channel is selected from the expression f=(0.03-0.50) F, where F is apparatus flow section, mm2.
EFFECT: wider range of forces acting on the apparatus within the range of its controlled speeds at minimum power consumption and minor amount of transfer processes in changing the apparatus acceleration and retardation conditions.
