FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: determination of thermophysical characteristics is carried out by placing the sample under investigation between a heat receiver with known properties and a heater with a constant temperature surface. The time dependence of the temperature difference in the heat receiver and the heater is recorded by a measuring system. Two time intervals (τ1, τ2) and the corresponding values of temperature difference between the heater and the heat receiver (t1, t2) are determined. The device contains a temperature regulator, a copper tubular heating element, a thermistor, a copper plate (the working surface of the heater), chromel/copel thermoelectric converters (thermocouples), a measuring system, a heat receiver, a helical device, and three guiding rods.
EFFECT: intensification of thermophysical properties determination process.
