SUBSTANCE: method comprises setting the specimen to be tested made of a prism of square cross-section to the cylindrical chamber of the experimental setup preliminary heated up to a temperature of 80-100 C, measuring temperature trend of the rib and middle of the side of the prism in a pair of points of the prism cross-section, determining the moment when the heat regime becomes steady-state, i.e. the temperature rate becomes to be constant, and determining the thermophysical characteristics from the formulae proposed.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy.
