FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the internal combustion engine ignition systems, in particular to devices designed to ignite fuel-air mixes. The spark-plug contains a metal body with a chamber and a hole, a central electrode with isolator and a spark gap made in the form of annular slot. Here, note that the spark-plug body incorporates a device to generate high voltage required to break down the spark gap made as a piezoelement, while the central electrode is a metal membrane connected with the piezoelement end face, the other end face of the said element is connected to the sparkling mechanism arranged in the plug metal body.
EFFECT: ignition system simpler design, smaller sizes and weight.
