FIELD: mechanical engineering; engine manufacture. SUBSTANCE: spark plug designed for use in devices for forced ignition of fuel-air mixture in cylinders of internal-combustion engines depending for their operation on characteristic features of both combination and standard spark plugs has at least one composite ground electrode built up of main and starting parts 5 and 6, respectively, with isolated sparking surfaces; auxiliary spark gap 7 is formed between starting part 6 and central electrode 3; main spark gap 8 is formed between main part 5 and side surface of central electrode 3. Alternative designs of main and starting parts of ground electrode, their relative arrangement and positioning relative to spark-plug body 1 are given in description of invention.
