METHOD OF SOFT TISSUE DEFICIENCY BUILDING ASSOCIATED WITH ELBOW JOINT REPLACEMENT Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC A61B17/00 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, specifically to traumatology and treatment of consequences of severe elbow joint damages. Method includes transposition vascularised muscle flap cut of radial flexor muscle of wrist. Tendinous part is detached at point of muscle attachment. Thus tendon of wrist radial flexor muscle is filed to superficial flexor muscle of fingers. Cut flap is placed on wound bottom, fixed with interrupted sutures to remains of triceps muscle of arm, ulnar flexor muscle of wrist and deep flexor muscle of fingers. After wound bottom is covered with flap, endoprosthesis is installed and assembled. Method enables to reduce muscle flap necrosis risk, to reduce operational injuries (donor region), to reduce duration of operative intervention, to increase range of elbow joint motions at preserved rotational movements of forearm.

EFFECT: development of method of elbow structure damages treatment at reduced operative intervention, allowing to reduce donor region area and to increase joint movements range.
