FIELD: gas treatment. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for absorbent regeneration in the course of isolation of carbon dioxide from ammonia-production converted gas. Aqueous solution of monoethanolamine saturated with carbon dioxide is subjected to multi-stream desorption at elevated temperature and pressure in multitray regenerator. Pressure at the regenerator outlet is maintained within the limits 0.055-0.06 MPa and that in distillation still 0.135-0.145 MPa. Invention allows the degree of carbonization of monoethanolamine solution to be reduced by 36-40%, solution absorption capacity to be increased by 24-38%, working monoethanolamine solution volume, used to sprinkle absorber and fed into regenerators, to be reduced by 20-28%, and energy consumption on pumping and heating to be reduced by 12-22% (electricity) and 28-30% (steam). Simultaneously, natural gas loading on ammonia production assembly is raised from 30500 to 35000 cu.m/h, which enables production of extra ammonia in amount 3.97 t/h.
