SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in food, chemical, petrochemical and metallurgical industrial sectors. The method of increasing the pressure of carbon dioxide in the course of its absorptive discharge lies in getting a saturated absorbent in the absorber and in the subsequent regeneration with the discharge of carbon dioxide from it under increased pressure 0.5-9.5 MPa using indirect heat supply. Part of the saturated absorbent is removed before regeneration, at increased pressure, it is mixed with the absorbent after regeneration and it is fed through to the unit of regeneration of the absorbent, where regeneration takes place at reduced pressure in the adiabatic regime or the supplying of heat.

EFFECT: reduction in the amount of carbon dioxide in the absorbent, reduction in the circulation of the absorptive solution, reduction of the temperature during the regeneration process of the absorbent, increase in the amount of achievable pressure and the degree of extraction of carbon dioxide during absorption.
