FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns porous non-hygroscopic material and can be applied to protect contact surfaces of friction units from scuff and wear. First graphite powder is dried at the temperature of 110°C and soaked in epilam with fluorine surface-active agent (Fluorine-SAA), with graphite and epilam in mass ratio 1:(2-3), in ultrasonic field with the frequency of 22-44 kHz for 8-12 hours. The processed graphite is dried at room temperature, then it undergoes curing by heat treatment in drying chamber at 110°C. The epilamated graphite obtained contains 6.5-10.5 mass % of graphite powder and Fluorine-SAA.
EFFECT: improved antiwear and antiscuff properties of epilamated graphite, stimulation of its obtaining method.
