SUBSTANCE: invention is related to hollow profile that is used in production of spirally wound and double-walled thermoplastic pipe; at that mentioned hollow profile has substantially rectangular cross section, and wall of hollow profile that is intended for shaping of pipe internal wall is thicker than the wall that is intended for shaping of pipe external wall, and radius of internal rounding of edges that are adjacent to thicker wall of hollow profile significantly exceeds rounding radius of two other edges of cavity.
EFFECT: increase of hollow profile strength.
