FIELD: machines or apparatus for drying materials in loose, plastic, or fluidized form, particularly for use in agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: plant comprises vertical drying chamber of rectangular shape divided into over-the-drier section, heating section and cooling one and having tapered lower part, microwave emitter and forced draft blower. ^-shaped hot air discharge boxes are arranged between over-the-drier section and heating section between windows made in drying chamber ends. One hot air discharge box extends along horizontal axis of symmetry and has vertical microwave emitting horn with aperture closed with radio transparent cap. Above hot air discharge box is directed into the drying chamber. Emitting axis coincides with vertical axis of symmetry defined in drying chamber. Each microwave emitting horn is linked with corresponding magnetron. Microwave emitter has several (more than 2) magnetrons. ^-shaped cold air discharge boxes are arranged between heating section and cooling one between windows formed in drying chamber ends. Adjacent horizontal microwave emitting horns have orthogonal polarizations.
EFFECT: increased quality of material drying.
