FIELD: devices for microwave drying of dielectric materials, applicable in agriculture, forest processing industry and furniture production. SUBSTANCE: the installation has a chamber with a door, microwave oscillator with a T-shaped branching of waveguide tee, whose ends through bendings are connected to the outputs of the vertical rectangular waveguides. The waveguide slotted outputs are connected to the inputs of the horizontal rectangular waveguides forming together with the first mentioned E- shaped waveguide transmission lines. Slots, having radiators, are located in the wide walls of the waveguides, their antenna apertures through the windows on the opposite side panels of the chamber face inside of the latter. The end of each waveguide on the side opposite the supply of the microwave energy is provided with a short- circuited piston that is coupled to a propulsive device and has stoke λw/4. Distance L between the extreme slots of the extreme horns of each row of the antenna array corresponds to relation L = (m-1)λw, where λw - the wavelength in the waveguide; L-distance between the extreme slots of each horizontal waveguide; m- integral number of the nutural series exceeding 2, each subsequent slot is shifted relative to the extreme slot the vertical waveguide adjacent to the short-circuited piston or adjacent to the slot output of the vertical waveguide at distance Li = (i-1)λw±λw/4, where k = sin(π(i-1)λw/L), i-integral number of natural series corresponding to the number of the respective slot relative to the mentioned extreme one. EFFECT: intensified process of drying of the stack of dielectric materials due to uniform periodically redistribution of the maximum value of electric field strength of microwave radiation. 4 cl, 6 dwg
