SUBSTANCE: device contains transporting device that is able to move in the first direction of supply and gutter, every of which is made with the possibility of installation of core in it, which passes in the second direction and is arranged with the possibility of movement in the first direction for passing through inlet position, where core is inserted. Device also contains transferring facility, which faces inlet position and is arranged with the possibility to supply rods forward in the second direction and in gutters. Every gutter has at least two longitudinal zones for gradual engagement with longitudinal zones of core. Device contains at least one chamber, which is created between core and gutter part and is located between longitudinal zones of contact. At that chamber is connected with suction device by means of the first connection facility. At that every gutter has the third longitudinal zone that passes at least along part of gutter length and is arranged with the possibility of engagement with the third longitudinal zone of core, which is supplied via inlet position. At that the third longitudinal zone is installed from the side of core that is opposite in respect to one of the two longitudinal zones available in the gutter, with which core is gradually engaged, and faces the same zone. At that the third zone of contact, which passes along gutter part, is formed by movable wall, which is able to perform the movement caused by pneumatic driving facility, between border contact positions along the third zone of disconnection contact, in which movable wall is located at the distance from the third zone of contact.
EFFECT: fast and reliable fixation of cores; reduction of device power consumption and increase of its suction efficiency.
