FIELD: medicine; anaesthesiology.
SUBSTANCE: caudal epidural cavity is punctured with disposable syringe needle of length 3.5 cm or curved needle of radius 4-5 cm, and thereafter anaesthetic test-dose is injected. Then Marcaine and Lidocaine of required dose are pulse-injected by 2-3 ml every 5-10 in ratio 2:1 to 3:1 respectively.
EFFECT: simplified needle positioning in caudal epidural cavity due to application of disposable syringe needle or curved needle.
