FIELD: weapon.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to missile munition and can be used during the guided missile control and fire. The technical result is achieved by means of the probability decrease of targeting breakdown during fly-to due to the insufficient rate, overload of the missile, and also errors of targeting. The method of targeting according to the invention is a method of targeting to the opposite course of the target of the guided missile. The coordinates of the target are measured. The start angle of kinematic course shift of the missile is formed in the interception plane towards the line directed to the opposite course and parallel to the target movement. The missile is launched and targeted in the interception plane at an angle with the further change-over in the first machine coordinates onto "the circular arc of radius R" to the point with the second machine coordinates, starting from which the missile runs into the opposite course of the target at an angle about 180°.
EFFECT: increase of probability, altitude and range of target destruction with the guided missiles.
