FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method of moisture determination of stable wilting can be used in agriculture during the soil features analysis. To determine the maximum content of bound water Wt in the field conditions, the rate measurement of thermal radio radiation of soil is carried out before freezing and of frozen soil in the beginning period of freezing, when the soil temperature is not lower than -5°C, and value Wt is determined by using the regression equation and graphics, which connect Wt with the defined rate of radiation, then value Wt is used to determine moisture of stable wilting from the ratio Wsw=0.93 Wt, where Wt is content of bound water, Wsw is moisture of stable wilting.
EFFECT: development of the remote method of moisture determination of stable wilting in the field conditions.
