FIELD: physics, measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns methods of measuring on SHF and can be used in agriculture for determination of moisture content in the soil during the fall-winter period and in a climatology for an estimate of streams of heat and a moisture between a surface of a land and atmosphere. The method consists that measure in field requirements to brightness temperature of soil and thermodynamic temperature of soil, spot coefficient of natural radio thermal radiation of soil before freezing and after freezing on the depth exceeding depth of sounding, further spot a volume fraction of the free water Wu and the peak volume fraction of the bound moisture Wt, using coefficients of radiation of soil before freezing and after freezing, with the help of regression equations or pictorially, value of the full humidity spot from relation W=Wt+Wu.
EFFECT: maintenance of remote determination of soil humidity.
