FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automated control over engineering processes using computing hardware and can be used in designing multi-parameter objects, for example, the structure of control system (CS) of a wide range of engineering systems (ES) irrespective of their applications and complexity. The method comprises the following steps. The instruction to start designing the CS ES structure is generated at the control board and sent to the CS ES structure formation unit, the ES control problems are formulated along with the ES control procedures and CS ES functions. The CS ES functional structure versions are shaped as well as CS ES organizational structure, to be further on optimised to meet the requirements of a preset criterion. The CS ES operation parameters are simulated, its characteristics are checked for compliance with the preset output characteristics. Given a negative result, the CS ES input characteristics are corrected and the entire process is regained. Given a positive check result, specifications on the said system are drawn up. The device is proposed herein to implement the method above.
EFFECT: high-efficiency system of controlling engineering processes.
