SUBSTANCE: invention refers to a lateral brush, which can be installed onto housing of sweeping machine. The invention aims at creation of simple, yet effective brush with a capability of bristles replacement. The brush consists of base element and multiple individual replaceable bristle segments installed onto the base element. The segments are equipped with bristles, which are packed into block using framing elements. The base element consists of flat disc, combined with coupling system to attach bristles segments, using locking principle. The coupling system is formed by elongated channels located radially in the base element. The said channels are completely open to the edge of base element; and provide rigid keying of bristles segments and sweeping machine housing with base element, equipped with fasteners that work as clamping screws.

EFFECT: creation of effective brush for sweeping machine, with a capability of bristles replacement.
