FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to urology. Stitches are put on neck of urinary bladder at 8-9 mm distance from each other. Needle is stuck in from muscular coat side 3-4 mm lower than wound edge and stuck out 3 mm lower than edge of mucosa. Then needle is stuck again 1 mm lower than edge of mucosa, passed in submucous layer and stuck out on outer wall 2 mm lower than edge of muscular coar. Procedure is repeated 4-5 times. Knots are tied up. Neck of urinary bladder with turned out mucosa is tabulated by stitching on its anterior wall 4-5 serous-muscle sutures. Sutures are stitched on imaginarily drawn lines, corresponding to triangle whose top is directed to neck of urinary bladder. Each subsequent suture enlarges the area covered. Anastomosis with urethra is imposed. The method allows for preventing formation of strictures and increasing efficiency of bladder-urethral anastomosis due to provided correspondence of lumen of urinary bladder neck to urethra.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of bladder-urethral anastomosis during radical retropubic prostatectomy.
