FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the manufacturing of a cutting tool and composites for space and aviation technology. Prepare a mixture consisting of not less than 1 mass% of the powder of amorphous nitride of silicon, alpha- and/or beta-nitride of silicon, with not less than 30 mass% of the powder of an explosive. From the prepared mixture press the charge mixture, place it in an airtight explosive chamber and initiate a detonation. Use any explosives, allowing during detonation of the charge mixture to create pressure not below 15 GPa and temperature not less than 2000°C, for example, cyclotrimethylenetrinitramine, cyclotetramethylenetetranitramine, trinitrotoloul, trinitrophenylmethylnitramine, tetranitropentaerytrite. Into the charge mixture it is possible to add up to 20 mass% of salts of metals with the density above 1.8 g/cm3. Before the detonation the charge mixture can be encased in a shell made from the specified explosive. The detonation can be carried out in an atmosphere of gaseous nitrogen, gas products of a detonation, in a vacuum, inert gases and air.
