FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical engineering, specifically to production of detonation nanodiamonds. Method of producing detonation nanodiamonds is carried out by blasting two-component explosive compositions in non-oxidative medium containing tetryl and trinitrotoluene, or hexogen, or trinitrophenol, or other explosive. Explosive charge explosion is carried out in water or water-salt shell (solution of urotropin or disodium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (Trilon B)) at weight ratio of charge – explosive mixture : shell 1:(10÷14).
EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining high-quality detonation nanodiamonds with high output.
