FIELD: nanotechnologies.

SUBSTANCE: explosive charge containing a raw material of synthesis, for example a mixture of TNT and RDX, in a disk form with a thickness close to the critical diameter of the charge in an ice shell is placed in an airtight explosion chamber. Then initiate detonation using a detonation electric detonator. Detonation synthesis of nanodiamonds is carried out in an environment inert to the condensed detonation products.

EFFECT: invention allows to increase the yield of nanodiamond to 7–9 wt%.
