FIELD: composite materials. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing a charge from explosive mixture with a negative oxygen balance consisting of carbon-containing substances and of substances which raise the detonation temperature, and exploding the charge in a confined space in the medium inert to carbon under the conditions ensuring liquid state of carbon in the detonating wave. The charge is detonated simultaneously with passing an electric current through the detonating wave or using substances to raise the detonation temperature in the form of a mixture of 40-90 wt.-% octogen or hexogen with 10-60 wt.-% of a substance selected from a series: aluminium, aluminium nitride, magnesium, or in the form of benzotrifuroxane, and the carbon-containing substances are selected from a series of benzene, ethanol, acetone. Before detonation, the charge is heated to 447-470 K at a pressure of 10-15 kg/sq m. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 cl, 1 dwg
