FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: to implement the method based on knowledge of precise star (galaxy) coordinates and their stability in time, a coordinate system convenient for user is selected before the beginning of measurement, three stars are selected, their angle coordinates defined (if necessary, more stars can be selected). At the moment of reading commence velocity and acceleration data from launcher facilities are saved as initial data, after reading commence acceleration vector projections to the selected star directions are measured with the help of inertial gauges of acceleration, velocity vector projections to the same directions are calculated by acceleration vector projections integration by time. Coordinates of velocity and acceleration vector end points are defined as crossing points of three planes perpendicular to the directions from velocity and acceleration vector projection end points to the respective stars. For orthogonal coordinate system with zero point at the launching point, velocity and acceleration vector modules and cosine guiding lines are calculated by the formulae.

EFFECT: high precision; simple implementation; elimination of accumulating measurement errors at longer flight time and distance.
