FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of autonomous navigation using inertial sensors, which provides continuous navigation determination in case of satellite navigation system (SNS) signals disappearance. In order to achieve technical result in method, at which counting from last coordinates obtained by SNS signals processing, object movement parameters are measured and its geographical coordinates are calculated. Measurements are carried out using a three-axis angular velocity sensor, which is used to determine the course, elevation and roll angles, as well as a three-axis accelerometer, according to which the projections of the track speed vector on the axis of the geographic coordinate system are determined. Obtained angles and projections are used to determine location of ground mobile object.
EFFECT: high accuracy of determining geographic coordinates of a ground-based mobile object.
