DIFFERENTIAL AMPLIFIER WITH HIGH COMMON MODE REJECTION Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC H03F3/45

Abstract RU 2331969 C1

FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention may be used for analogue signal amplification within the structures of different functional analogue microchips (for example, operational amplifiers, and comparators). Differential amplifier includes input differential stage (1) with current outputs (2 and 3) connected with auxiliary transistors 1 (4) and 2 (5) emitters and current-stabilising impedors 1 (6) and 2 (7), current mirror 1 (8), whose input (9) is linked with transistor collector (4) and output (10) is connected to current mirror 2 (12) input (11), current mirror 3 (13) with input (14) connected to transistor collector (5). Current mirror (13) and (12) outputs (15 and 16) are coupled with differential amplifier output (17). Transistor bases (4) and (5) are connected to offset voltage source (18). Circuit is supplemented with current mirror 4 (19) and additional transistors 1 (20) and 2 (21) with their bases connected to offset voltage source (18). Transistor emitter (20) is linked with transistor emitter (4) and transistor emitter (21) is coupled with transistor emitter (5). Transistor collector (21) is connected to current mirror (19) input (22), transistor collector (20) being linked to current mirror (8) input (9), transistor collector (4) and to current mirror (19) input (23).

EFFECT: increased common mode rejection factor.
