SUBSTANCE: dust-arresting device is meant for separation of dust from air by means of the centrifugal force created by rotation of the drawn-in air in the vacuum cleaner. The dust-arresting device contains the main body of cyclone with the first inlet through which the drawn-in air goes to the main body of cyclone, a cyclone chamber, in which the drawn-in air rotates and the first outlet through which the discharged air from the cyclone chamber directs from the main body of cyclone. Between the first inlet and the cyclone chamber there is a guide assembly directing the air to the cyclone chamber separating the air flow at least to two parts. The guide assembly contains the guiding wall which first side faces the first inlet and the second side faces the cyclone chamber. Through the guide wall there pass several second inlets. Several guide air ducts according to the number of respective several second inlets are made on the second side of the guide wall. Each of the guide air ducts has an inclined plane on its external periphery so that the air discharged from the situated above along the flow guide air ducts would be directed by the inclined plane from the second inlets. The guide assembly additionally contains several guide channel made as a spiral and meant for directing of the air to the cyclon chamber.

EFFECT: increase of efficiency of the vacuum cleaner work by means of reduction of air pressure losses.
