FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: cyclone-type separator has first cyclone for separating of dust from air, set of second cyclones arranged along outer perimeter and adapted for separation of small-sized dust particles from air through centrifugal force after separation of dust in first cyclone, and cover mounted on upper parts of first cyclone and second cyclones and provided with guiding projection conical in shape. Guiding projection is provided at its lower surface, centrally thereof, for guiding of air discharged from first cyclone into second cyclones through air passageways provided on cover. Vacuum cleaner has casing for creating suction force and for drawing of dust and air, lower brush for drawing of dust from surface to be cleaned using suction force, lower brush fluidly communicating with vacuum cleaner casing, and cyclone separator mounted in vacuum cleaner casing.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in dust catching and compact construction allowing reduction of suction force to be excluded.
