FIELD: medicine; urology.
SUBSTANCE: histological material is obtained with the help of transrectal ultrasonic examination by an ultrasonic sensor with biopsy head attached to it. Ultrasonic sensor is introduced into rectal ampulla and performs visualisation of a tumour on the bladder wall surface. Then the images of bladder tumor base and biopsy canal formed by the ultrasonic sensor and the biopsy head are combined. Biopsy needle is put into the biopsy canal, outer end of the needle is fixed in biopsy pistol socket, and a "shot" is performed. After the shot the biopsy needle is pulled out, and histological material containing bladder wall and tumour base tissue is obtained.
EFFECT: improved reliability of histological diagnosis and detection of bladder cancer invasion stage at pre-operation stage.
