FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns nasal lacrimal duct permeability recovery by endonasal intubation. A 120 mm long polyvinylchloride tube with outer diameter of 1.0 mm is inserted along a caproic cord preliminarily drawn through the tear-duct system. A 100 mm long polyvinylchloride tube with internal diameter of 1.0 mm and catch element in a form of hooked notch at the leading end is drawn over the first tube from its nose end. The notch is made in advance with scissors at a narrow angle at the distance of 1 mm from the tube end for 1/3^rd of its circular perimeter and flexed aside at the angle of 45°. After the wider polyvinylchloride tube thrusts against the fornix of lacrimal sac it is drawn back until the feel of positive resistance. Then the caproic cord and polyvinylchloride tube of lesser diameter are removed. Upper end of wider polyvinylchloride tube stays dipped into the lacrimal sac cavity, while the lower end is cut at 2 mm from the nasal lacrimal duct influx.

EFFECT: cosmetic defect prevention; reduced traumatic effect of the method and reliable nasal lacrimal duct lumen fixation.
