FIELD: medical technics.
SUBSTANCE: according to the method, constant volumetric gas speed value is sustained at the level of maximum component volume required for inhalation narcosis per time unit. Adjustment is performed by a lock-type adjustment unit, the effect of which is reduction of gas component feeding time at a given volumetric speed to the calculated value defined by ratio of requested volume to the maximum. To sustain constant gas component feeding, the adjustment is performed by algorithm, with metering feeding time into equal impulses evenly distributed through a time unit. Total time is equal to the calculated value. The invention describes a device for gas component feeding during inhalation narcosis and an inhalation narcosis apparatus for implementation of the method.
EFFECT: minimisation of gas component feeding error.
