FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: volatile anaesthetic in liquid pharmacological dosage form is automatically delivered in small amount. That is ensured with using a device containing lines for each gas component and a device of introducing of said anaesthetic connected by outputs to mix anaesthetic gases and vapours, a computing unit, a generator of volatile anaesthetic vapour volume concentration connected to the computing unit. The computing unit enables calculation of an evaporated anaesthetic dose providing the required volume concentration of vapours in the anaesthetic gas by formula: Q=M·C·V/(22400·γ·100%), where Q is an anaesthetic dose, cm3/min, M is a molecular weight of the delivered anaesthetic, g, V is current consumption of live gas, ml/min, C is the required volume concentration of the anaesthetic vapour, %, 22400 is the gram-molecular volume of the evaporated anaesthetic under normal conditions, ml, γ is a density of said anaesthetic, g/cm3. The live gas flow consumed at the maximally required level in inhalation anaesthesia is transformed in a pulse, and the current consumption is set as a pulse repetition frequency. The calculated anaesthetic dose is injected into the preset flow.
EFFECT: adequate inhalation anaesthesia ensured by higher accuracy of volatile anaesthetic dosing.
