FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: motor vehicle bumper makes a passive safety device and consists of elasto-plastic material striking plate (2) with cells (3) on its rear arranged on the vehicle body front (1). Plate (2) is made from an elastic permanent magnet based on thermo-plastic elastomers. Cells (3) feature a closed multi-layer structure with the face and side walls (4) furnished with through holes (5). Cells (3) are completely filled with a power intensive magnetic powder (6).
EFFECT: higher power absorption.
